We are persisting in efforts, so that this day is a holiday of all dogs which serve the man with a devotion , giving him joy and helping with illness. Their faithfulness is deserving noticing. We are counting, that similarly as last year, we will manage to convince you for common actions. Persons and organizations which will report to us, will receive the card of the application via e-mail. Willingly we will also answer all questions, grant the additional information s and we will hear commentaries and ideas out.

15 th June- International Dog Human Therapy Day |

Dog Human Therapy activity in Poland was initiated in 1987 by Maria Czerwi ńska, founder of The "CZE-NE-KA" Foundation. For the celebration of 20 years of dogotherapy in Poland, day 15 of June 2007 was appointed The Dog Human Therapy Day. The Speaker of the Seym of the Republic of Poland took its celebration under his patronage. |

For the participation in previous editions of day of working pets and their owners, all organizations and individuals involved in dogotherapy activity were invited. We encouraged them to show their work. We met with the kind response to our appeal in entire Poland. Dogotherpists, together with their pets, visited hospitals, schools and institutions of the health. Dogs and people were shown at their routine work with persons with disabilities. |

The celebration turned out to be the great, widely publicised in the media, success, what drew up to The "CZE-NE-KA" Foundation the idea of widening the entire undertaking for the international scale. In Autumn of 2007, during the international ADEu conference in Bad Nauheim, we informed its participants about out initiative. We heard a lot of words of the support which additionally assured us that we were heading in appropriate direction. |

15 th June of this year, as in previous editions, we w ish that all dog otherapists , ADI members, enthusiasts of dogs, as well as persons with disabilities which are using benefits of the pet's help , took the active participation in T he Dog Human Therapy Day. So that they could meet with disabled persons, conduct an object lessons at school or just tell their acquaintances, how the four-legged friend changed their life. It dep ends on you only , in what way you will celebrate this day. |

The " CZE-NE-KA " Foundation will be present on a rehabilitation ward at the children's hospital in Dziekanow Lesny that day . Together with our dogs and volunteers we will welcome the new rehabilitation turn , helping children to accustom themselves to the new, hospital environment. |
